We invite you to join us for a
Tu B’Shvat Seder celebrating
the New Year of the Trees
Tuesday, February 7 prior to lunch
In the Weiss Auditorium
Everyone who takes part in the Seder will eat at least 15 different types of fruit and nuts. Lunch will be served immediately following the Seder.
For thousands of years Jews have marked
Tu B’Shvat as the New Year of the Tree. Ancient Jewish sages saw that in Israel, this was when trees started to come out of their winter dormancy. This holiday marks the awakening of life in the trees, when buds begin to develop, and new leaves grow.
Please let Barbara know if you would like to have a part in the Seder.
Reservations are required for lunch.
