JCA and Cori's Place in the news

On Wednesday, March 14th, the JCA hosted a pizza and sundae party for the young adults from Cori's Place.  Cori's Place is a non-profit day program agency serving adults with intellectual disabilities, Down Syndrome and Autism from Luzerne and Wyoming Counties.  For the past 15 years, Cori's Place participants have been volunteering with the JCA in helping to prepare and serve lunch for the seniors.  They have learned life skills and made many friends with the seniors.  The JCA honored Cori's Place for their dedication and commitment.  It was a phenomenal program and was covered by WBRE Eyewitness News and The Voice.  To see the video, go to:

The party was sponsored by Jane Evans and Book Keeping Express. Thank you to Jane for her generosity and commitment to the JCA.
