Norman (2016) Richard Gere stars as an aging Jewish businessman Norman looking to fulfill his life’s purpose, consulting in American-Israeli business and politics but this exposes Norman for what he is, a fixer and not a good fixer at that. Rosenwald (2015) The real-life story of Sears-Roebuck owner, Julius Rosenwald. In paying forward his good fortune in business, he single-handedly funded construction of more than 5,000 schools for African American students. Artist in Residence: David Bruskin, Hollywood script-reader and childhood friend of Rabbi Larry Kaplan, will comment on the films in our series and share his take on Jews in film throughout his 30 years as a script reader in Hollywood.
